Highland is proud to introduce its very own book vending machine, aligning with the latest educational trends and reinforcing our commitment to literacy and positive student behavior. This innovative addition encourages a love of reading while also serving as a reward system. Students can earn PBIS points and redeem them for a token to select a book of their choice-promoting both academic growth and positive conduct. As the principal of Highland, I have fundraised enough money with the enormous help of Mrs. Shaffer to be able to purchase this gift for the students of Highland. Mrs. Dumas has been instrumental in helping to secure this purchase, and will be maintaining the machine with books that students love. Once again, Highland is at the forefront of innovative practices!
