CONCORD, NH – Governor Kelly Ayotte is inviting New Hampshire elementary school students to help decorate the Governor’s office for the holiday season with a coloring page of the State House.

Elementary schools from across the state are invited to submit their coloring pages, which will be displayed at the last Governor and Council meeting of the year on December 17.

“As I always tell our fourth graders who come to visit, the State House is your house, and we want our students to play a part in celebrating the most wonderful time of year with us,” said Governor Ayotte. “I can’t wait to see the creativity and talent of our students as we deck the halls in the Governor’s office!”

The New Hampshire Department of Education will send the coloring page to elementary schools statewide, and submissions should be returned to the State House by Friday, December 12.

“Our schools are full of inspiring young artists. This holiday season, we encourage them to show off their talent, share their artwork, and spread some holiday cheer,” said Commissioner of Education Caitlin D. Davis.
