MANCHESTER – Alexandria Geosits is a 7th grade language arts teacher at Hillside Middle School, and she's also worked some nights and weekends as a barista at Aroma Joe's in Manchester. Those two jobs came together on May 2 in a really cool, caffeinated way.
Ms. Geosits said her manager at Aroma Joe's, Brianna Hanson, reached out to ask if she could put together something for Hillside staff to celebrate teacher appreciation week. Geosits said the result blew her away.
"We put together carts filled with our signature iced coffees, hot coffees, teas, and rush energy drinks, and on the side – free drink cards for everyone and a raffle basket," Geosits said, and she and Hanson took the carts out to deliver custom drinks. "It was just so wonderful to see the two worlds I love so much come together on a day to celebrate all that teachers do!"
"Additionally, it is just fantastic to see the community come together, because each teacher at my school was given a free drink card, so they can come get a coffee made by me at the store location," she added.
