Students – are you looking for a way to stand out to prospective employers? Industry-recognized credentials, or IRCs, can show employers your specific skills and set you apart from other applicants. This month during spring break, we are partnering with Manchester Proud to host our first Industry-Recognized Credentials conference.
The event will take place on April 25, 26 and 27 from 8:30 am-2 pm at Manchester School of Technology, 100 Gerald Connors Circle, Manchester.
Participants will be trained in two distinct areas that are appealing to employers: life-saving skills and customer service. Upon successful completion of an exam in each subject area, you will earn your certificates. We will also work on developing your resume that you can use during your job search process.
This event is free and open to any Manchester School District student age 16 or older. Snacks and lunch will be provided daily. Permissions slips are required. You can sign up using this Google Form.
