About The Bookmobile

What Do We Do?

What Do We Do?

The mission of Bookmobile is making sure that all children, regardless of their ages, have an opportunity to access and engage with books. The main goal is empowering children by improving their literacy levels and instilling reading happiness in them. The Bookmobile continues to evolve, working towards the mission, which is to ensure that the entire services and the books are free, with no hidden fee. No library card is needed to receive books from the Bookmobile, and it also strengthens our kids by providing access to information, education, culture, and recreation.

What Is Our Vision?

What Is Our Vision?

The vision of the program is designed to promote community-based summer literacy by offering books to Manchester children of any age. This effort will help children avoid the "summer slide," which is a decline in reading ability. That happens over the summer months when children may not be engaged in regular reading. Any child who attends a session will go home with a free book and snack.

What Do We Do?

Who Should Come?

  1. Kids who like reading, or parents who want kids to read more.

  2. Parents can join in on the activities.

  3. All are welcome to volunteer to read books to kids!
