Dear Parents,

We need to make afternoon car patrol much easier. We have too many parents showing up at our door at the end of the day to dismiss their children instead of waiting in the car line.

If you have a car patrol number of 1-45 or you have a Kindergartener, you need to go the front of the school's car line to pick up your child. Even if your Kindergartener has a higher number. All Kindergarteners go to the front of the building.
All other students will be picked up at the back of the building unless they have a number 1-45.
If you need a car patrol number, do not wait until dismissal to get it. You need to make arrangements with Mrs. Gendron before 2:15.
You can not change the procedure for your child to go home past 2:15. We ask that parents refrain from calling the office from 2:15-3:00. This is our dismissal time and it is extremely busy. We only have one secretary.
If you are a walker, you will need to wait until 2:55 to get your children at the side door near the preschool rooms. You should have a car patrol number.
We will not send your child home with any other adult unless you have given us permission to do so. You will need to send in a note in the morning, or call Mrs. Gendron if an emergency arises.
We do not want adults at the front of the building during Kindergarten dismissal. We need all adults watching the Kindergarteners near the traffic, and it is too distracting.

These guidelines are important. We have over 300 students to dismiss in a very short time, and we need the help of our whole school community.
