Weston Elementary Parent Teacher Organization

Welcome to the Weston Elementary School PTO! You are already a member of this great Parent-Teacher Organization and we would like to extend an invitation to you to join us in our efforts.

If you're not familiar with the Weston PTO, we are a group of parents, teachers and administrators who meet the first Tuesday of each month from 7pm-8pm at the school. The Weston PTO serves to support the efforts of the staff and teachers.

A typical Weston PTO meeting covers information about upcoming PTO sponsored events, fundraising updates, class standings for Box Tops, but it also provides you with a window into your child's day at Weston. Each month, Mrs. Mac updates the PTO about plans for Enrichment night, field trips and other important issues regarding your child and their education.

If you find you are unable to attend the PTO meetings but would like to receive the minutes from each meeting, just send an email to Becky Burke at Rebecca.burke@mclane.com and she will add you to the growing list of parents

And, if you have been considering volunteering in some way but were concerned about the time commitment you would have to make, let me reassure you that we don't ask for a big time commitment from volunteer members. There are a variety of positions and tasks that may only require an hour of your time. There is no obligation to attend meetings or even come to the school for many of these volunteer opportunities. So, if you are interested in being involved in any of the programs, events or activities we support at Weston, just let us know and we'll be happy to accommodate your schedule.
