School Closings or Delays for Elementary School

The Manchester Superintendent or designee shall arrive at a carefully considered judgment through personal observation, national, state, and local weather bureau forecasts and consultation with Highway and MTA authorities.

Any school closings or delayed opening will be announced no later than 6:20am on WZID FM/ 95.7, WFEA AM/610 radio; or WUMR-TV, Channel 9. You can also call the school department at 624-6300 and press "8" for school closings after 6 am. In addition, if you have internet access, you can go to www.wzid.com school closings and get the information there.

If school opening is DELAYED, the children will enter school at 9:50 (no earlier) with a late bell of 10:05. Full Day Kindergarten will start at 10:05. Procedure in case of delays and closings can be found at www.mansd.org and click on"District Information."

Busses will run on a 90-minute delayed schedule in case of delayed opening.

Weston School Handbook

All students and parents are expected to be familiar with the school handbook. The school handbook contains information regarding school hours of operation, student drop-off and pick-up procedures, and information on student conduct and discipline procedures. All students receive a copy of the handbook at the beginning of the school year or upon enrollment. You may also download a copy using the link to the right.

Kindergarten and New Student Registration
