Welcome to the Southside Middle School Library Media Center

Library hours: Monday-Friday 7:25 AM to 2:30 PM (Students may stay later with library staff permission.)

Mission Statement:
The mission of the Manchester School District Library Media Program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information by providing resources that supplement the curricula and support both the instructional and recreational needs of all library patrons.

Media Center Rules:
• Respect all library materials, computers, and furniture.
• Active learning allows for conversation in the media center.
• Students are required to have a signed pass to use the media center without a staff member.

Loan Policy:
• Students may borrow 2 items, which includes books and magazines, for a period of two weeks.
• Students may opt to renew for an additional two weeks.
• Students are responsible for the replacement costs of lost and damaged materials.
