FIRST Lego League

Sports for the Mind

Ms. Leeman, Advisor

For the Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology

A group of ten students meet after school two or three times/week in order to design, build, and program robots built with Lego's.
They will also need to complete a research project in order to participate in a state wide competition which is held in December.

Sign ups are in early September. See Miss Leeman in room G-13 if interested.

Congratulations FIRST Lego League!!!!
Your SPARTAN ENABLERS 2004 did it again. They came away with one of the top four judges awards given out on Saturday at the State Tournament. They won the Against All Odds Judges Award. The robot did not perform well, but Southside’s FLL team impressed several judges with their outstanding research presentation, technical programming of the robot, and team interview. Way to go!!!! Alex Bennett,
Kyle Gagnon, Jon LeBlanc, Jonathan Rivera, Zach Glennon, Justin Chevrette, Sean Bilodeau, Joesph Mele and Dalton L’Esperance. After five years of coaching Southside’s FIRST Team they finally brought an award made out of Lego’s back to Southside. Thank you from Miss Leeman!!
