“THE HARLEM ROCKETS” COMEDY BASKETBALL TEAM IS COMING TO MANCHESTER, NH TO
PLAY THE MANCHESTER SCHOOL DISTRICT’S “21ST CENTURY COMMUNITY LEARNING
CENTERS DREAM TEAM.”

On Tuesday, October 30, 2007, the 21st Century Community Learning Centers
(21st CCLC) will host the “Harlem Rockets Comedy Basketball Team,” in the
Central High School Gymnasium at 6:30pm.
The “Harlem Rockets,” a talented group of basketball entertainers, who
combine incredible showtime basketball skills and hilarious comedy, will
face the “21st CCLC Dream Team” in a game benefiting the 21st CCLC after
school program. The 21st CCLC Dream Team will have their work cut out for
them as the Rockets have played over 2000 games in 14 years without a
single defeat! The game is sure to offer something for everyone to enjoy.
Sports enthusiasts will be intrigued by the athleticism of the Rockets,
their ball-handling wizardry and high-flying dunks. Everyone will be
entertained by the comedy, banter and improvisational antics of the team.
The “21st CCLC Dream Team” members have graciously agreed to face the
Harlem Rockets. The team will include principals, teachers, coaches and
students from our eleven 21st CCLC sites as well as representatives from
the Manchester Police Department, Manchester Fire Department, and the
Manchester Boys and Girls Club.
Get your tickets now for what promises to be a fun-filled evening of
entertainment for the whole family! Tickets are $6 in advance and $8 at
the door.
