Citizens who cannot attend a question and answer session for finalists for Manchester's school superintendent position may e-mail questions to the district and watch for candidate responses when MCTV airs the meeting in its entirety.
Questions may be submitted to David Scannell, the district's community relations coordinator, at dscannell@mansd.org .
The public forum will be held Wed., March 5 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Memorial High School.
MCTV will air the meeting the following day and into the next weekend.
"We want as many people as possible there in person, but we also thought we should provide an outlet for those who cannot attend," Scannell said.
The four finalists are Thomas Brennan, superintendent of schools in New London and surrounding towns; Aquine Jackson, chief academic officer of the Milwaukee (Wis.) School District; Herbert Levine, former superintendent of the Salem (Mass.) School District; and Darrell Lockwood, superintendent of schools in Goffstown, Dunbarton, and New Boston.
The Memorial High School forum will cap a jam-packed schedule of interviews that will place each candidate in front of students, parents, administrators, and citizens.
The Board of School Committee expects to name a finalist at a special board meeting Mar. 15.
