Comcast Employees To Embark Upon Third-Annual Reading Initiative

Who?
Scores of Comcast employees  
What?    
Will read to all kindergarten through third grade classes in Manchester elementary schools and will donate over 30 books to each school’s library.  
When?  
The week of March 12 (The schedules vary at each school, but the bulk of the effort will take place in the morning. Please contact David Scannell at 624-6300 x169 for a schedule.)  
Where?  
All Manchester elementary schools  
Why?

Special Announcement:The Comcast initiative coincides with “ReadAcross America Week,” a nationwide effort to encourage literacy.  “Read Across America’s” signature event will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 15 at Manchester’s McDonough School (550 Lowell Street) when Comcast employees will join Gov. John Lynch as he reads to students.
