Get Moving Manchester!

For the next 4 weeks our 3, 4, and 5 graders will be participating in Get Moving Manchester. Get Moving Manchester is a school program to promote healthy eating habits and physical activity. This year's theme is 5.2.1.0 which means five fruits and vegetables, have two hours or less of screen time, one hour of activity a day and choose drinks that zero amounts of sugar like milk and water.

The program will run from March 17, 2008 and April 11, 2008

Our teachers will keep track of healthy food the kids eat (such as fruit, dried fruit, raw vegetable, cheese, yogurt, smoothies, and milk) and will have them exercise.

The Health teacher will be sending out homework through-out the course of this program.
