Public Safety

This program introduces the student to the field of policing, criminology, forensics and fire fighting. We will review the historical underpinnings of the modern day study of police standards and the importance of forensic science in our society. College credits are available through articulation agreement with the New Hanphshire Technical Institute of Concord

The students will examine the theoretical causes of crime and criminality. They will study the response of society to crime. The student will be introduced to criminal law and procedures, crime scene investigations and court functions. Students will develop personal skills such as human relations, basic rights, responsibilities and communication.
