Academy of Finance

Have you ever thought about what it would be like to be a Stockbroker or Investment Real Estate Broker? Maybe you’ve thought about a career in Accounting or Commercial Banking? The Academy of Finance program will open doors for you if you desire a career in business and finance.

The Academy of Finance is an academic and internship program designed for students who are interested in career opportunities within the business and financial services industries. Each student enrolled in the Academy of Finance will participate in a paid internship to gain real world experience within the finance industry.

This program offers you the opportunity to learn in a finance focused environment. You will be introduced to various areas of finance, such as Banking and Credit, Insurance and Securities, Personal Financial Planning, International Business and Accounting. You will develop your own investment portfolio and participate in an online Stock Market Game simulation.

The Academy of Finance program has scholarship opportunities and articulation agreements with Rivier College, Southern New Hampshire University, Daniel Webster College, and New Hampshire Community Technical Colleges.
In addition to classroom activities, you will have the opportunity to participate in our MST DECA program, an association of business and marketing students. You will develop your leadership skills by working with other students in a team environment. You will be able to attend regional, state and national conferences. The scholarships available through DECA are numerous.

Additional credit is also available to those students who are working while enrolled in the Academy of Finance program through the Cooperative Work Experience Program.
