    The Library Media Center Goal
The goal of the library media center is "to assist all students in becoming active and creative locators, evaluators, and users of information to solve problems and to satisfy their own curiosity. With these abilities, students can become independent, ethical, lifelong learners who achieve personal satisfaction and who contribute responsibly and productively to the learning community and to society as a whole."

    General Information

The library media center is a well-lighted, centrally located facility that seats 220 patrons. It is open from 7:00 am until 3:30 pm each school day. Students may come to the library during study hall with a library pass, on their own (no library pass necessary) before school, after school, or during their lunch period. Students also come to the library media center when their classroom teachers schedule class periods in the LMC for research and information.

A library media center brochure is always available on the giveaway table near the entrance of the LMC. The brochure includes information on policies, procedures, and other general information.

Computer use is for academic purposes only.
