Pet Pals 2008

Pet Pals is an afterschool class where students learn about:

Each week we work on a photojournal, writing about what we have learned in class and photographing what we do. The goal of the class is to learn, have fun and give back to the community.  The class also works on a service-learning project to serve the community.  This year we will be hosting a school wide drive to benefit the Manchester Animal Shelter. Check back for more photos and to see what we've been working on!

The Manchester Police Department demonstrated how the K9 Unit is important in the community.

The students took a field trip to Petsmart to talk about proper pet care and dog training.

On April 15, 2008 our group went on a field trip to the Manchester Police Department horse stables.  There we learned about the role the Police horses play in our community and learned about all of the hard work that goes into caring for Shorty and Valor.  Thank you Officer Lachance and Tardiff, you were AWESOME!
