Parent Teacher Organization

At Hillside, the Parent Teacher Organization is the school's spirit in adult form. As the name implies, the PTO is ideally comprised of all teachers, staff and parents or guardians of Hillside students. The PTO can be a most effective instrument in aiding school functions, in binding the community harmoniously, and in strengthening family life through active interest in the children's school activities, atmosphere and studies.

The PTO is especially proud to have created Hillside's newsletter, "The Beak Speaks."

The Hillside PTO holds its meeting on the third Tuesday of every month beginning in September. The meetings are held in the school library and start at 7:00 p.m.. We welcome all parents or guardians, teachers and staff to attend any or all of these meetings. The dates will be posted on the school sign.
