Use of communication notebook between administration and teachers for grade level meetings. Communication has increased and become more effective as is evidenced in the communication notebooks. Continuation from 1st trimester Continuation from 1st trimester
Use of special education communication folders for all identified students in order to document growth. Communication has increased between specialists and classroom teachers as is evidenced by contents of special education folders.

To increase parental awareness of student assessments to include NECAP and rubrics for the writing assessments. Parent information nights. Open House and distribution of Parent's Guide to Curriculum.

Parent Guides to Math and Language Arts curriculum at each grade level is available on the G.A. school website.

 
To provide professional development in the area of Math Recovery strategies. Teacher's attendance at First Steps workshops as outlined in the G.A. professional development schedule. Continuation of First Steps program with District Math Implementation specialist. First Steps PD program concluded.
To provide professional development in the reading intervention programs.

Bernadette Grizzell from U.S. Department of Education hosted an inservice for G.A. teachers entitled "Building Reading Fluency and Intervention..."

Multi-sensory educator and reading specialist provided training on Fundations.

Teachers visited other schools for guided reading training.

Special Educators and paraprofessionals attended LLI training.

Guided reading training was provided for all staff including special educators and paraprofessionals.
Analyzing assessment data Professional development training in use of Performance Tracker by Data Team with time provided for grade level collaboration as is evidenced by NECAP grade level worksheet.

Data Team attented state sponsored inservice regarding interpretation of NECAP data scores/results.

Staff participated in item analysis review of NECAP data to with the goal to improve instruction.

 

Staff continued to utilize Performance Tracker to enter local assessment data, run reports, and analyze data to improve instruction and meet student needs.
To provide teachers with materials to support both math and language arts curricula. Purchase of Daily Word Problems, Daily Math Warm-ups, Daily Language Warm-ups for all teachers through Green Acres School funds. Continued use of resource materials provided by G.A. in first trimester. Continued use of resource materials provided by G.A. in first trimester.
