Welcome to the Website for Grade 4 and 5 Special Education Students
My name is Jill Swenson. I am new to Green Acres School, but not the Manchester District. In the past 22 years I have been a classroom teacher (in another district), a stay at home mom, a reading teacher and a Special Education Teacher. I am very happy to be at Green Acres!!! This school has a wonderful reputation.
My role is to provide inclusionary support and pull out instruction to identified students in the 4th and 5th grade classrooms for both Language Arts and Math depending on their IEP’s. Mrs. Lisa Erickson is an Educational Assistant that also provides support in the classrooms with direct input from me. I also provide strategies and materials for classroom teachers to help provide modified instruction. I have met a few parents and am enjoying your children. We have a lot of work to do in the coming months.
