Welcome to Gossler Park School
Welcome to Gossler Park School's web page. Mrs. Bezanson and Mrs. Sutherland have worked diligently to update our information. Please let us know if you found our information useful. Also, if you have suggestions on how we can better inform you please let us know.
Gossler Park School was built in 1956. It has had two additions since that time. It is located at 99 Sullivan Street, which is on the west side of Manchester. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with the west side, we are located behind the Catholic Medical Center.
We presently have approximately 400 students in Kindergarten through Grade Five and two Special Needs classrooms. Our facility is all on one floor, which makes us handicap accessible.
We are very pleased to offer a full day Kindergarten program to our students. I do believe that our teachers and parents are very happy with this arrangement.
Gossler Park School is indeed fortunate to have such a fine, dedicated staff. Parents are encouraged to communicate with their child's teacher. When parents and teachers work together the children truly benefit. Please communicate with your child's teacher on a regular basis. You have much to share on how we can best help your son or daughter.
Our students and teachers have gained much from the hard work the PTG has done to enhance the programs at Gossler Park School. Please become an active member. All parents and teachers are automatically members. There is no fee involved. We meet on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 PM in the Library. We'd love to hear your opinions and suggestions. This group works hard at providing our students with many extras that complement our educational program. They have hosted many entertainers who have provided extensions to our curriculum. Classrooms have also received audiovisual equipment due to their hard work.
Gossler Park has many students who would like to play a musical instrument but don't have the funds to rent them. If there is anybody out there who would like to make a donation of a used clarinet, alto sax, trumpet, trombone or string instruments please notify the school. Your gift would make a child very happy.
We are very proud of our school library. When the last addition was built our library doubled in size. It is a very attractive room which allows our students to work on research projects in a very comfortable setting. There are many computers with internet access for our students to use while they are doing research in the library. Students are always supervised while on the internet. We are also very fortunate to have two mobile i-book carts availble to the students, one in each wing.
Sincerely,
Mr. James B. Adams
