SCHOOL NURSE : 628-6081
Message from our school nurse:
Hand washing is very important in the prevention of spreading cold and flu viruses. Also, if your child has a temperature of over 100 degrees, please do not send him/her to school that day.
Those of you that are transferring or registration new students may find it helpful to call the Manchester Health Department or to visit their web site to find out the necessary requirements.
NEW POISON CONTROL PHONE NUMBER
There is a new nation wide Poison Control number. The number is 1-800-222-1222. Parents are encouraged to keep this number by all telephones. The Poison Control Center is a wonderful resource, with expert advise if you suspect your child has been poisoned.
When calling the Poison Control Center it is helpful to know the name of the product or medication, and how the child has been exposed to the poison (inhaled, swallowed, contact to skin, etc.).
