Hello Gossler Park Parents and Guardians!

I am Mrs. Josef, the counselor here at Gossler Park, and I am very excited, as always to be working with your child/children this year! In order to continue to help make our school a safe and comfortable environment for our students, I am here to help support the students as needed. In order to do so, as needed, I conduct weekly individual counseling sessions, small group counseling, family/parent counseling, and crisis intervention. At certain times of the year, I will also be going into the classrooms to do lessons on such topics as safety, self-awareness, problem solving, decision-making, and more.

If you feel your child/children might benefit from individual or small group counseling, please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience. I will send home permission forms for any student interested in counseling. We will meet for a half-hour every week and it will not be during critical instructional time in the classroom. If you have any questions or concerns, or feel there is something I can do to help your child/children, please feel free to call me at 624-6327 or send in a note. I look forward to working with all of our families this year in helping our students to succeed!
