First Grade News

We, as first grade teachers, would like to help your child develop responsibility by encouraging them to complete their daily assignments and homework and pass them in on time, to study their spelling and vocabulary words and to practice reading at home nightly.
The best thing you, as parents, can do for your child is to read to and with him or her daily. It would be most helpful if you could also spend some time each day going over spelling words and other homework. We are working on math facts, sums 0-12. Reinforcing these at home will help your child master them.
