MPDHH program provides educational and related services to students who have an educationally significant hearing loss with or without cochlear implants. Students attend preschool, elementary school, middle school and high school classes within the public school system with the assistance of trained teachers of the deaf, educational assistants and interpreter/tutors.
Educational services may be accessed in the regular classroom or in resource settings, based on each individual student's needs and the appropriateness of that setting in meeting those needs. Each student's Individual Education Plan may include speech and language therapy, counseling and other related services, depending on individual needs.
Who are we??

What do we offer?
Deaf Culture
Preschool/Kindergarten Program:
Provides a rich linguistic environment with many opportunities for experiential language development. For children between the ages of three and six, hands and voices are used to assure that all students have full access to the wide array of information they need to develop to their potential - cognitively, socially, emotionally, and linguistically (develop listening, speech and sign language skills). A team approach with parental involvement is viewed as a priority so we offer support to aid parents with communication, behavior and socialization issues.

Elementary through High School Program:
Language development is an integral part of all program curricula. It is uniquely combined with the New Hampshire Curricula for Math, Reading, Social Studies, Science, English/Language Arts, etc. In fact, All related subject areas including Art and Physical Education are also designed to enhance a language based program. Our students participate in the rigorous State of New Hampshire Education Frameworks.
