In the past, the PTSO managed the parent newsletter, the practice SAT test and we also run the staff appreciation week in May.  The group would hold one fundraiser to help offset the cost of the newsletter and pay for the staff treats.

At Central, the Parent Teacher Student Organization is the school's spirit in a community form. As the name implies, the PTSO is ideally comprised of all teachers, staff, students and parents or guardians of Central High School. The PTSO can be a most effective instrument in aiding school functions, in binding the community harmoniously, and in strengthening family life through active interest in the children's school activities, atmosphere and studies.

The Central PTSO will hold its meetings on the following dates during the 2004-2005 academic year. The meetings are held in the school library (James Building) and start at 7:00 pm. We welcome all parents or guardians, students, teachers and staff to attend any or all of these meetings. The current officers include: President Lorraine Farrell @ 644-8922 and mytmom@comcast.net, Vice President Peggy Loomis @ 625-4617, Treasurer Diane Antonico @ 644-0482, and Secretary Meredith Gately @ 641-2636.
