Central High School Booster Club
Dear Parents and Supporters of Central High Athletics,
We're all looking forward to another exciting year of athletics at Central High School. The Booster Club is a parent organization that raises money which is used to support all of the student athletes of Central High. We also work alongside parents, coaches, and school administrators to promote school pride and sportsmanship.
Our primary means of raising funds are concession stands at football and basketball games and cross country events, program books, 50/50 tickets. The efforts of our parent volunteers are the key to the success of the Boosters. All of the money raised is used to support our student athletes.
The Booster Club sponsors the Central High Pride Award Evenings at the end of each sports season. All of the student athletes are recognized for their participation and we present each of them with a "Central Pride" t-shirt. The coveted "Little Green Award" is presented to the male and female athlete of the season. In addition to the Pride nights, we help provide teams with supplies such as warm ups, helmets, and mats and we help cover expenses for teams participating in training sessions and higher level competitions. For our championship teams we provide keepsakes for team members and banners to display at the school. At the Central High Academic Awards Night in June we award several scholarships to our graduating student athletes.
Your support and participation would be greatly appreciated. The stronger the Booster Club is the better we can support Central's athletes. The annual family membership is ten dollars. Your time is even more important. As a parent I have found that being a member of the Booster Club is a lot of fun and is very rewarding. Please help support our athletes and keep sportsmanship and Central Pride alive by joining us today.
