NECAP Testing

The New England Common Assessment Program (NECAP) is the result of collaboration among New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont to build a set of assessments for grades 3 through 8 and 11 to meet the requirements of the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB).
- The science part of the test will be taken on one day. Juniors will have a modified schedule. See below for details.
- Juniors will be tested in the James and Burns Buildings grouped by their U.S. History classes.
- Some classes will be moved from their usual location to a new room for the day. For classes that are moved, a list is located here.
- Other classes (mostly Junior classes) will be cancelled for the day. A list is located here of classes that are cancelled.
- Students should locate rooms in advance and bring #2 pencils, calculators and something to work on silently should they finish the test early.
