Course Selection Sheet for All Classes

Current Juniors Registration Schedule

  • March 3 during homeroom: Distribution of Program of Studies and yellow course selection sheets.
  • March 3-14: Obtain teacher signatures for courses selected and if necessary, obtain guidance counselor advice concerning selections. Course teachers will talk about courses and expectations at selected times of their choosing during student sign-up period, which ends on March 14 for current Juniors, next year's Seniors. If you have failed any required courses, you must re-take those courses, preferably in semester one if possible. Course selections can be adjusted as the school year progresses. However, please make sure your selections are in place during this enrollment period of March 3-14 in order to assure that you are properly scheduled for September. Your schedule will be available on the first day of school, September 3. If a conflict exists on your schedule, Mr. Mailhot will contact you during the summer months for a resolution to the conflict.
  • March 11-14 Bubble Days: Your homeroom teacher will distribute bubble sheets on March 11 and subsequent days. Please come to homeroom with a number 2 pencil and your yellow course selection sheet. You must transpose course numbers onto the bubble sheet. Remember that full year courses require two course numbers, for example, Spanish IV is course number 1175/1176.
  • March 14: Homeroom teachers must turn in bubble sheets and yellow course selection sheets to Mr. Mailhot. Any remaining incomplete bubble sheets will require follow-up with Mr. Mailhot. Please adhere to these deadlines and have all your forms completed in timely fashion in order to get the courses you want for next year!
  • April 7 (Approximate date): Verification sheets and yellow selection sheets available for your review during homeroom. This means that changes or adjustments to original course requests are allowed. Please see guidance counselor for further advice. Verification sheets and yellow course selection sheets are due back to Mr. Mailhot by Friday, April 11.
  • Mid-May: Students receive a new corrected verification of courses sheet followed by another add/drop period of time. Students must review course selections and keep in mind the courses failed during 2007-2008. This final selection and adjustment to course selections will take place after distribution of 4th quarter Progress Reports. Teachers will produce a failure list to assist guidance counselors with final course selection adjustments.
  • Sept. 3: First day of 2008-2009 school year. Finalized schedules distributed in homeroom, first Mod of the day!
