Below are some pictures taken on Monday, September 19, 2004 of the new Burns Building. There is some last minute construction details being finished, but most of the work is done, and the new building, classrooms, and underground parking garage for teachers is in use!

First are pictures of the Quad, the area between the James and Burns Building and the view from Concord Street, the new bus stop area. In the first picture, the doorways straight ahead are the new entrance to the gym.

Photographed from atop the PA Building, the Burns Building is situated between the three other Central High School buildings, behing the Lincoln Statue.

The pictures below are from Concord Street on the Beech Street side. You will notice the yellow tape as the workers finish up construction.
