CENTRAL PRIDE FOUNDATION

The Annual Central Pride Foundation Raffle will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at Milly's Tavern. Ticket sales are limited to 100 people at $100 a piece. If you are interested in purchasing a ticket then please contact John Rist.
The Central Pride Foundation had its first meeting of the school year on October 20, 2009. Two central organizations were awarded grants: They are:
- 1. Little Green Newspaper - $2000 Grant to upgrade their computer system so that it will be compatible with the Union Leader.
- 2. Merrowvista - $1500 grant to provide bus transportation to site location.

MISSION STATEMENT
To establish a private non-profit 501 C3 foundation to
support the enrichment of the educational process at
Manchester High School Central.
GENERAL ACTIVITIES
- Raise funds through charitable contributions to
the 501 C3 non-profit corporation. (all contributions
are tax-deductible)
- To fund enrichment programs which enhance the
educational experience for the students at Central
High School. Over the past four (4) years, the Foundation has supported activities including
- DECA competitions in Orlando, Florida
- purchased a milling machine for the robotics team
- supporting a French class trip to NYC to meet with United Nations representatives
- helping Maskers with sound equipment
- annual sponsorship of the Central Scholarship night
- To develop a base of funds for distribution for
enrichment at Central High School through a board of
directors. The board will consist of community
leaders, alumni and current CHS administrators.
PURPOSES
- To purchase technology for Central High
School.
- Support student academic competitions and field
trips.
- Supplement the purchase of academic materials and
funding of student publications.
- Sponsor student theatrical, musical productions
and art exhibits.
- Arrange for and fund guest speakers and
lecturers.
- Fund and enhance other academic activities at
Central High School that improve the educational
experience.
