The Morning Reading Program

Before school can be an educational time too! Volunteer teachers and staff welcome students into the cafeteria for a half hour of read alouds. Students have the benefit of listening to three to five extra books each day. A student that attends the morning reading program for even a few days a week is exposed to hundreds of extra books each year. The Morning Reading Program begins each morning at 7:35am and stops at 8:05am so that students may attend the breakfast program.

No permission slips are required. Students must arrive in the first 10 minutes of the day in order to enter and they must remained seated for the entire time.
