MST Report Cards: A Message from the Superintendent

To Our MST High School Families:

First of all, we want to thank you for your flexibility with our different approach to educating your child over the last two years. We continue to work hard at bridging the gap between the traditional pathways to achieving expectations and the new, innovative manner by which your children are learning at MST. Part of the unintended complexity of redesigning a high school experience such as the one offered at MST High School is the paradigm shift in administrative tasks such as scheduling, grade reporting, and tracking of mastering competencies. Students and their families have been very patient and understanding as we have wrestled with issues such as generating a personalized report card, progress report and transcript for each student, items that have been quite delayed. We believe we are close to issuing competency-based report cards for each of our students, and we are certain our students and parents will be very pleased with the amount of personalized information the grade report will contain.

Our apologies for the delay, but I assure you that we continue to work with our technology personnel and software vendor to speed up the process and it is our hope to have grade reports for MST High School students shortly. If you have any questions or would like to further discuss the issue, please feel free to contact MSTHS Principal Karen White at 603-624-6490.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Debra Livingston
Superintendent of Schools
Manchester School District
